Job description DATCAM AUTOMATION is looking for Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.A Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for designing and developing Tools. Responsibilities: 1. Design and develop mechanical systems: Use computer-aided design CAD software to create detailed design drawings and models for mechanical components and systems. 2. Develop prototypes: Create and test prototypes of mechanical components and systems to ensure they meet technical specifications and design requirements. 3. Troubleshoot and problem-solve: Identify and solve technical problems related to mechanical components and systems. 4. Perform design analysis: Use analytical tools to assess the performance, reliability, and safety of mechanical designs. Requirements: 1. Proficient in CAD software: Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA. 2. Knowledge of mechanical design principles: In-depth understanding of mechanical design principles, including mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science. 3. Familiarity with engineering standards: Knowledge of engineering standards, such as ASME, ASTM, and ISO, and regulatory requirements. 4. Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and solve technical problems related to mechanical components and systems. 5. Experience with prototyping and testing: Experience with prototyping and testing mechanical components and systems. 6. Analytical skills: Ability to use analytical tools to assess the performance, reliability, and safety of mechanical designs.
