BMS operator in manufacturing industry Industry : Manufacturing City: Chennai Duties and Responsibilities Key Job Responsibilities &bull Perform daily auditing of plant performance by utilizing the facilities built on the building management system BMS e.g. data logging, plant review, alarm manager status, etc. &bull Analyse the behavior of the plants with respect to the set point and setting up the various control parameters. &bull Use the historical logged data of various plants to review the system and propose improvements in order to enhance the system efficiency and / or reduce the operation cost as well as improve the services provided. &bull Participate in the Health, Safety & Risk programs including toolbox meeting, health safety and environmental training related to work activities especially electrical safety and working at heights. &bull Carry out all other duties as directed by the company Requirements &bull Electro-mechanical/HVAC diploma certificate/training in Control Systems &bull Good level of the English language both written and spoken. Skills &bull A basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages &ndash MS Word, Excel, MS Outlook &bull Able to work under stringent deadlines. &bull Technically competent with a clear technical understanding of BMS services and associated equipment. &bull Proficient and able to demonstrate a complete understanding of the BMS system. Experience &bull Minimum 5 years Gulf experience working as a BMS Operator &bull Knowledge of Health and Safety relating to Operations &bull Has an advance knowledge with BMS systems in commercial buildings or other facilities management building services engineering environment.
