Job description Hiring on Warehouse supervisor Position Overview: As a Warehouse Supervisor at Mensa Brands, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating warehouse activities to ensure the efficient storage, handling, and distribution of products. You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to maintain high operational standards and provide effective leadership to the warehouse team. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervision and Team Leadership: - Lead, motivate, and coach a team of warehouse staff, including pickers, packers, and forklift operators. - Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. - Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse personnel to meet operational goals. 2 . Inventory Management: - Assist in monitoring inventory levels and reconciling discrepancies. - Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records. - Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager to optimize inventory control processes. 3 . Quality Control: - Oversee the receiving and inspection of incoming products to ensure quality standards are met. - Implement quality control checks to prevent shipping of damaged or incorrect items. - Address and resolve any quality issues or discrepancies promptly. 4 . Shipping and Receiving: - Coordinate with carriers and vendors for timely product deliveries and returns. - Assist in the preparation and loading of outgoing shipments. - Verify and document received shipments accurately.
