Lead Production Operations Supervisor Position  Job Description Responsibilities 1. Material Coordination: - Obtain raw materials in a timely manner from the Purchase Team to ensure uninterrupted production flow. - Monitor and verify that raw materials meet quality and quantity requirements before production begins. 2. Manufacturing Process Management: - Ensure the correct sequence of manufacturing processes is followed to achieve the desired finish of components for assembly. - Regularly review and update the Job Card to reflect accurate dimensions and ensure these are within drawing specifications. 3. Quality Assurance: - Ensure the use of appropriate measuring instruments to verify product dimensions and maintain quality standards. - Conduct quality checks to ensure that all components adhere to specified tolerances and customer requirements. 4. Safety Compliance: - Adhere to and enforce all work-site safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. - Promote a safety-first culture among production staff. 5. Cost and Process Efficiency: - Maintain knowledge of manufacturing costs and identify ways to minimize expenses without compromising product quality. - Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste. 6. Continuous Improvement: - Apply basic principles of 5S housekeeping and Kaizen to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production environment. - Encourage staff to participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
