Project Overview:
Bechtel is seeking to work with a major Indian corporation to provide Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services for a multi:billion:dollar renewables and its infrastructure project in India. The PMC Services will be led out of India with personnel deployed in Mumbai region. This position will start as an assignment in Mumbai, India (office) and after the full notice to proceed from the Owner, the site:specific position will eventually transition to the job site for the execution of the project.
Job Summary:
Performs assignments that will develop professional work knowledge and abilities through the application of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.Exercises limited but increasing judgment in performing assigned tasks.Using prescribed methods, performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
Candidate is responsible for assigned activities within the control systems engineering discipline in a global business unit. Applies broad knowledge of engineering principles and practices to project engineering in the preparation of engineering analyses.Makes decisions concerning problems within the discipline on the project. Represents the discipline on the project and with the client as directed to resolve technical questions.
Work involves the preparation, interpretation or review of calculations, specifications, plans, requisitions, guides, databases, and/or systems.Reviews design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors of a moderate degree of complexity and prepares comments and recommendations. Assists in the preparation of forecasts, quantity take:offs and change orders.Participates in and fosters a work environment that is based upon openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.
