Responsibilities : - Interacts with the Business Analyst and Product team to understand the business functional requirements.
-Performs data modelling and implements the business rules.
-Defines source to target data mapping and data transformation logic as per the business need.
-Develop and migrate reports and associated components using Pentaho Business Suite and per the technical specifications provided.
-Integrate reports and associated components with legacy and third party applications.
-Performs production deployment and participate in post-production activities. Skill Set required : - Extensive experience in developing reports, dashboards, drill-down charts, interactive reports using Pentaho report Designer, Ctools, Saiku, interactive analyser etc.
-Hands-on experience in developing using Pentaho Schema workbench, Meta data editor and Aggregator.
-Hands-on experience on Pentaho API for integration with parent applications.
-Data Warehousing, ETL and Business Intelligence experience using Pentaho Suite (Pentaho Data Integration/Kettle, Pentaho BI Server, Pentaho Meta Data and Pentaho Analysis Tool OLAP and Ctools).
-Strong database skills Tables, Triggers, Procedures, Functions, and Views.
-Experience in ETL (Extract Transformation Load) process and ELT Process - Hands on Experience on Descriptive/ Predictive Reports.
-Hands on experience on designing as well.
