Position Title : Sr. Developer - PHP : Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration and/or equivalent work experience Salary : 8.0 CTC Lakh per annum Experience : 3 Years- experience in PHP development Job Location : Sector 66, Mohali DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : 1. Lead and manage the PHP team, promoting the creation of elegant, practical solutions to meet the companys business goals. 2. Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for team members. 3. Provide accurate effort-estimates for deliverables. 4. Be committed to the deadlines through follow up of tasks with team members. 5. Research and actively learn about new technologies and introduce them into the infrastructure. 6. Resolve technical issues that are escalated by junior and mid-level developers. 7. Work closely with the Head of Technology to assist in the analysis, evaluation and recommendation of new application and technology appropriate to the company. 8. Establishing ways for team members to complete their tasks. 9. Creating communication channels between the team and other departments. 10. Project estimation 11. Resource and time management 12. Quality management 13. Responsible for identifying project risks. 14. Defining milestones for a new project SKILLS : 1. Advanced knowledge in Magento 2, Magento Extension (Mandatory) 2. WordPress (Madatory) 3. Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4. CakePHP or Laravel (Any one) 5. MySQL, Linux 6. Git, SVN 7. React, Angular JS, NodeJS, 8. HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript 9. Good knowledge of Amazon web servers and Linux environment 10. Object oriented programming 11. Scale web application deployment experience 12. Team management experience. 13. Full knowledge of SDLC (System Development life cycle) 14. Advanced knowledge of MySQL 15. APC, Memcache, Varnish etc. 16. Ability to motivate staff in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. 17. Ability to manage priorities and work in a fast pace environment. 18. Strong organizational and communication skills. 19. Exceptionally self-motivated and directed. 20. Expert knowledge of PHP related development technologies. 21. Work experience using a bug /task tracking application.
