Main responsibilities : The QTO Reporting Analyst will support the Global Quote to Order responsibilities will include the following ; - Carry out business analysis to identify report requirements - Create new reports and dashboards using OBIEE, test and publish the prioritized reports within the appropriate reporting system.
-Work closely with the technical development team and QTO Reporting Project Manager on report development, the design and execution of the Order Management subject area in the reporting environments and troubleshooting of issues - Perform analysis and hold reviews with internal customers, propose new automation or improvement initiatives, as well as helping to resolve production issues.
-Will look across requirements of individual reports and can identify a solution that contributes to the bigger picture - Provide user support on BI applications through performance of training and knowledge transfer of technology and functionality - Review, log and monitor Incidents/ERs/Bugs, where required - Drive Quote to Order Reporting Projects, including : a. Working with the reporting teams and business partners to define, understand and document report requirements, benefits and measures of success, translating business needs into defined reporting requirements b. Working with OAL and Product Development on report development, design and execution of the Order Management subject areas in the relevant reporting environments c. Working with Finance, LOB staff and stakeholders on testing requirements d. Creating and maintaining training materials e. Ensuring global reporting documentation is up to date and changes are communicated regularly to appropriate audiences f. Following up post-implementation and ensuring project benefits are realized - Help drive the Business Intelligence Strategy within the organization - Control, monitoring and governance of new and existing reports for the full lifecycle - Conduct meetings with End Users to determine key reporting requirements/identify gaps in existing reporting - Support user community on OBIEE through performance of training and knowledge transfer of technology and functionality - The preferred candidate has an excellent understanding of at least one business intelligence or analytics application, as well as prior work experience in Order Management.
-Candidate must be self-directed but also work well as part of a team. The individual must be capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamically changing work environment.
-The ideal candidate can accommodate a flexible work schedule to support other regions as needed. The preferred individual also has experience with Oracle Financials and/or Oracle eBusiness Suite, APEX, SQL, OBIEE and data warehousing. Qualifications : - Minimum 5 years relevant work experience - Experience building complex BI reports and dashboards using OBIEE or similar - Data Warehouse Business Analyst with experience in analytical report building - Working knowledge of Oracle Financials and/or Oracle eBusiness Suite - Enjoys being part of a virtual team - Strong planning, organization, problem-solving and analytical skills - Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills - Attention to detail, ability to prioritize work and meet competing deadlines - Demonstrated ability to achieve results through cross-functional, virtual teams - Effective in building relationships with internal technical and business partners - Highly motivated, positive attitude, takes initiative, team player - Strong Excel skills
