Collegedunia is looking for an Architect to lead the platform vision, definition and solution design for organization within FCTS.
-You will be instrumental in defining architecture, technical requirements necessary for the team to execute on the vision. Bring your committed drive for results and help us deliver. Responsibilities : - Providing technical leadership and vision for agile development teams building next-generation systems - Defining implementable application architectures and system designs for custom application and integration solutions - Selecting technology standards and road-mapping/planning the migration of legacy systems to new technologies and standards - Advising on enterprise architecture governance across project teams to ensure consistent application and adherence to defined architecture principles, documenting and communicating architecture decisions - Participate in technical planning requirements gathering phases including design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications.
-Ensuring that technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for agile software development.
-Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level. Required Skills : - Passionate coder with 3 years of Tech lead experience - Breadth of experience withPHP, Python, NodeJS, Linux, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, Nginx, REST-based Web services, GIT, Hands on experience with nosql Databases like MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra or similar and relational databases like MySQl, Postgres - Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills.
-Broad understanding of application architecture and software technology in one or more technology environments (e.g. PHP, Python, Web, mobile).
-Experience as a hands-on software developer; still enjoy getting hands-on with code.
-Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive projects from an architectural standpoint.
-Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical designs.
-Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
-Self-starter who can work independently.
-Strong consulting and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with various organisations in pursuit of problem solutions.
-Additional optional skills for this position include experience with: AWS, Docker, Elastic Search, Jenkins
