IP Planning Engineer Delhi/ Mumbai/ MP/ Chhattisgarh, India Our client is a an IT & Telecom services company and they would like to fill-up following position asap. Position : IP Planning Engineer Location : Delhi/ Mumbai/ MP/ Chhattisgarh Education : Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics Experience : 3 Years of Operational & design experience in networking, Routers/ Switches etc. (Multi OEM Preferred) Compensation : Commensurate with education and experience Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile : - Candidate will be responsible for planning IP network which includes backhaul/access planning.
-Good knowledge on IP, MPLS and routing knowledge (OSPF, BGP) in an ISP environment.
-Involve in the technical assessment, planning and design of IP solutions in a consistent way with the department product catalogue, strategy and architecture.
-Make feasibility report and provide design document for New Customer services.
-Coordinating with multiple Teams. Provide High level and Low /level design documents.
-Coordinate with local Field Operations if any support required during implementation.
-Participating with seniors in the team to gather customer/business requirements and analysing those requirements from a technical feasibility point of view.
-Need to provide plan for Migrations according to project demands working with virtual technology teams, different stakeholders from business, technology, operators during solution design and implementation phases.
-Act as technical representative in his area within the project team and competence area to all stakeholders, including the customer and Technology operations.
-Get involved in troubleshooting problems that may be raised by different teams across the IP nodes. Tools used : Cisco ASR9000, ASR920, ASR903, C7600 etc. Juniper MX480, MX960 etc. Huawei Routers and Switches etc. Cramer, Clarify, Remedy and Mori. MS Office, Visio, Others. Selected candidates shall be willing to travel as per Job demands.
-Candidate should have Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics. CCNA in Routing & Switching or Equivalent. ITIL v3 Certification preferred.
-Should have 3 Years of Operational & design experience in networking, Routers/ Switches etc. (Multi OEM Preferred).
-Thorough understanding and knowledge of network operating systems, network equipment and networking protocols.
-Experience in SDH/DWDM systems preferred. Excellent Verbal and oral communication skills. Shall be proficient in Engineering Documentation.
