JOB TITLE : MIS Analyst Location : Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Type : Full-time Consultant ABOUT MEDHA : Medha improves employment outcomes for youth. We provide 21st century skills training, career counseling and workplace exposure, and ongoing job placement and alumni support to students at their existing educational institution. Since 2011, Medha has trained over 12,000 students across 60 educational institutions, placed them into internships and full-time jobs with 500 leading employers, and built public-private partnerships with various departments within the Governments of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Haryana. Medha is supported by leading corporations and global foundations such as Accenture, Bank of America, and EdelGive Foundation; and has received numerous awards and recognitions for its work, including the Echoing Green Global Fellowship, the Dasra Girl Power Award, and the Unitus StartEdu competition. CURRENT NEED : Medha has partnered with the Department of Technical Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh, to setup and implement a State Placement Cell (SPC) model. The objective of the SPC is to improve employment outcomes for over 50,000 students from all 141 polytechnics in the state. Technology plays a critical role in the project, connecting students and alumni to local and regional placement officers and internship/apprenticeship and full-time job opportunities. Accordingly, Medha is looking for a passionate, motivated, and skilled technology professional to administer and manage the proposed technology solution in conjunction with our IT partner. SKILLS SET AND SCOPE OF WORK : The ideal candidate has the following set of skills and will manage the following areas of work : - Interacting with various stakeholders to implement and monitor the IT solution - Data reporting to management on daily basis - Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues - Preparing and updation of KPI data as per the agreed template - Ability to foster crucial business relationships and engage in tech discussions - Expertise to train staff on new technologies - Analyze business information to identify process improvements - Preference will be given to candidates who are open to acquiring managerial skills and growing into a tech-lead role within the organization QUALIFICATIONS : - Minimum BTech/MCA/MSc in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; Professional certification is a plus - Work experience of 5 years in the IT industry working closely with delivery teams and the business teams - Knowledge of IT processes, algorithms and Java - Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ideal candidate is entrepreneurial with the ability to innovate, collaborate, and problem solve BENEFITS : - Extremely entrepreneurial work environment with growth opportunities - Opportunity to work with one of the most renowned IT companies of India, a high impact social organization, and the state government - Ability to see and experience the real impact of your hard work on a day-to-day basis Apply here.
