Looking for Enterprise Technical Architect (Java/J2EE - Microservices) for a IT Services company. The JD is below : Work Location : Chennai, Bangalore Responsibilities : - Lead technical discussions with customer technical architecture teams strategic partners to brainstorm solutions and determine technical feasibility - Develop credibility and strong partnership with partner technical teams and work together to architect joint solutions for common customers - Work cross-functionally with various customer teams including: product management, engineering, various product lines, and/or business units to drive forward results - Lead the gathering and understanding of functional requirements, develop technical specifications and work with cross functional team on integration implementation - Develop prototypes/proof of concept and web/mobile solutions and be the technical point of contact for partner teams (Here partner teams are the engineering teams / scrum teams responsible for solution development) - 50% hands-on coding in demonstrating the right way to design solutions in areas : J2EE Rest and SOAP APIs, Rules engine, Business Process Management, Queues and Topics, adapters for DB / File / Caching. Ability to participate in code reviews with very less turnaround to understand the objective and design of the application stack.
-Demonstrate a passion for developing well architected, elegant, web and/or mobile apps - Generate technical documentation and PowerPoint presentations to communicate architectural and design options, and educate development teams and business users - Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies Qualifications : - BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience - 10 years- experience designing and developing web, software, or mobile applications - Excellent communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences - Strong leadership experience: Leading meetings, presenting, technical go to person, and cross-functional collaborator - Business Acumen - strategic thinking strategy development - Expertise : Java/J2EE, Mobile App development, Data Model and Engineering - 3-5 years experience with web services (consuming or creating) with REST or SOAP - Exposure to projects involving Big Data lake setup, data handling technologies like caching, scripting and storage - Proficient or project knowledge in architecture patterns meeting business and technical standards and goals within enterprise setups. Web, services, data streaming, offline / online, sync / async mode of data transfers, event driven architecture are some of the areas the architect should be experienced in.
-Hands-on experience in software production deployment design, go-live strategy formulation, performance engineering of the different tiers of the applications - Advocacy in implementing strong security controls across any of the tiers in application to meet OWASP enterprise security standards.
-Some areas of these controls are listed here but are not limited to these - SSL / TLS, OAuth-2, XSS controls, Data security and obfuscation, Infrastructure and network layer security controls, development standards and tools enforcing adoption of security controls and practices.
