Role Summary/Purpose : Leads, consults or oversees multiple architectural engagements. Works on highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge within a domain: technical, solutions, business or information. Leads domain specific architecture. Your Day at MNC : - Shape technology direction for digital solutions working with product and engineering leadership teams - Establish architecture vision for different solutions aligning to the overall technology direction - With a platform mindset, ensure different architecture elements fit to the big picture and are reusable for different use cases - Evangelize architecture vision with product management, engineering and scrum teams.
-Guide architects in architecture and design of components, services and applications with long- term focus - Drive DOR for architecture epics, spikes ahead of PI planning - Help program team in technical risk retirement, IP assessment and in buy-build decisions - Plan and drive technical design reviews as appropriate - Collaborate with technical leadership teams across CCS to drive initiatives for technology convergence and to enhance product quality - Coach and mentor architects and staff software : - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or in - STEM- Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) - A minimum of 9-12 years of professional experience in software development - A minimum of 10 years of hands on experience in software development covering different technologies (Web/HTML5/JS, Angular/React, Mobile, TDD/BDD, Spring, REST, Docker, Java/Node, SQL/NoSQL) - A minimum of 3-4 years of experience as architect / solution architect Desired Characteristics : - Experience as principal engineer / principal software architect for software product line - Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity - Experience in Enterprise Architecture, architecture / design patterns - Experience in Cloud / Fog computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) - Experience of driving activities to influence code quality and process rigor - Experience with OpenStack technologies, deployment and configuration - Excellent knowledge with development tools integrated build systems: Eclipse IDE, Git/Jenkins/Maven - Enthusiastically follow technology trends, software engineering best practice and technologies while enjoying the challenge of solving complex problems - Experience with Cassandra database, query and performance optimization and database design - Exposure to BDD/ TDD practices - Experience in Healthcare domain
