Location : Pune( Viman Nagar) Technologies and Methodologies : - University Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology/System, or other relevant disciplines is essential. Job Description : Project Related Competencies : - Analyses the functional requirements produced by BA/Client for the module and develop an error free program/software.
-Good problem solving skills and analytical skills.
-Ability to work in an agile environment.
-Knowledge and know-how to troubleshoot potential issues, and experience with best practices around database operations. Technical Expertise : - Strong PL/SQL expertise along with database tuning experience by running diagnostics and doing query optimization.
-Design and deploy data table structures, forms, reports, and queries.
-Hands on experience design and development of reports and dashboard.
-Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases.
-Knowledge of Oracle, MySQL, MS SQLServer, or PostgreSQL.
-Good understanding of stored procedures, functions, cursor, etc.
-Absorb and understand existing SQL database and structures - Good knowledge of at least one BI and reporting tool like Microsoft Power BI, OBIEE, Tableau, Jasper, Sisense, etc.
-Good knowledge of Data Warehousing and Star Schema Design.
-Familiarity with ETL tools like Talend, Informatica, data stage, etc.
-Strong understanding in dimensional modeling.
-Experience in data mining/ predictive analysis will be a plus. Other Skills : - Excellent communication skills - Should work in tandem with development/support teams situated in Mumbai,Pune and USA Job profile : - Perform problem analysis, solution determination, code design and development, integration, test and modification.
-Involve in development of various core components for project customer specific enhancements and also responsible in Bug fixing for the same.
-Involve in the entire lifecycle of the project starting from requirement understanding to the final deployment.
