Job Description : - 4 years of Hands on experience in DB/ETL testing - Essential Skills / Experience - Experience on ETL/DWH Testing, BI Reporting testing - Experience on Informatica, UNIX, SQL, ORACLE - Exposure to Development Methodologies like Test Driven Development - Strong knowledge in SQL queries - Any MDM tool concepts should be clear (IBM MDM, Informatica MDM, Oracle MDM, Teradata MDM) and Testing should be strong.
-Good communication skills both verbal and written.
-Should have root cause analysis skills, able to quickly analyze and interpret - code and ensure that issues are resolved or raised appropriately - Exhibit a good understanding of Software Development and Quality Assurance best practices - Monitor test execution progress and provide metrics and reports to management - Desirable Skills / Experience - Experience in ETL/DWH Testing.
-Knowledge of Informatica Tool.
-Oracle (Stored procedures, Joines,Triggers SQL etc.) - Experience in building test cases for business requirements Personal Characteristics : - Good interpersonal and communication skills.
-Strong team player - Ability to work at a strategic and tactical level - Ability to convey strong messages in a polite but firm manner - Self-motivation is essential, should demonstrate commitment to high quality design and development.
-Ability to develop maintain working relationships with a number of stakeholders.
-Flexibility and an open attitude to change.
-Problem solving skills with the ability to think laterally, and to think with a medium term and long term perspective - Ability to learn and quickly get familiar with a complex business and technology environment
