We are hiring for Game tester for a leading company in Bangalore. Experience : 4 to 8 years. Salary: Upto 8 LPA. Notice Period : Immediate to 30 years EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : Any degree or Diploma, Multimedia Certification EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : Should possess 4 years of experience as " Unity developer " / certification will be an added advantage KEY COMPETENCIES : - Good verbal & written communication skills (English) - Should be able to manage small projects independently - Creative & Innovative thinking - Ability to Work Under Pressure TECHNICAL SKILLS : - Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to computer application - Accuracy and attention to detail - An understanding of the latest trends and their role in a commercial environment - Knowledge of computer games and the industry - Understanding of Quality Assurance processes - Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Strong attention to detail and patience for repetitive work - Flexible working and the ability to adapt to different processes - Strong computer literacy skills - Programming languages, such as C# and Javascript with strong OOP fundamentals - Web technologies, including HTML, CSS, or JavaScript, WebGL, and mobile device applications ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES : - Investigating problems in software as a result of testing - Working with BA analysts and software developers to find solutions - Play and test the application repeatedly in different ways and situations - Learn to be repetitive as well as unexpected. Basically, youre trying to break the game - Test different versions including PC and console versions - Compare new versions and replicate previous bugs to see if they have been fixed - Play game using different settings and options if available - Check for typos, spelling mistakes and grammar.
