Project Overview:
Bechtel is seeking to expand its decades long relationship with Reliance by providing Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi:billion:dollar upgrade / expansion of existing petrochemical facilities in India. Reliance plans to augment its existing petrochemical facilities in Dahej, Gujarat, and Nagothane, Maharashtra, to expand its PVC capacity. The PMC Services will be led out of India with personnel deployed in Mumbai region, the project sites in India, as well as several key contractor locations across India. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtel 's India offices. The position on the project will start as assignment in Gurgaon office.
Job Summary:
The Construction Coordinator (CC) will be responsible for the home office construction coordination and serves as a vital link between Construction and other functions like Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts and Project Controls. The CC ensures that Construction requirements are informed to the project team and project team receives Construction 's input in a timely manner. In addition to construction condition, the primary duties and responsibilities involves preparation of service requisitions and construction scope of work for construction service contracts of various commodities and services.
Major Responsibilities:

Preparation of service requisitions and construction scope of work. Support project planning, staffing, workhour calculations, construction budgeting, and subcontract procedures preparation.

Communicates with engineering, supply chain to assists preparation of the service requisitions.

Coordinate with Supply Chain, bidders and resolve technical bid enquiries.

Attends bid clarification meetings for the purpose of ensuring the complete understanding on the construction scope of work and agreement between Bechtel, the customer and contractors.
