Role:- We are looking for an experienced, Student Counsellor who is meticulous in his/her approach. This is a full-time onsite role for a Senior Academic Counsellor based out of Pune. As a Senior Academic Counsellor, you will be responsible for providing academic counselling to students.- To understand career requirements of the students and counsel them and parents (if required) to offer subject matter expertise for specific courses of the university.- Counsel graduates and working professionals, person of all age group about our courses & handling enquiries.- Interaction with Students on regular basis.- Support the students throughout the admission process by answering their queries.- Maintain the target metrics by converting potential students into confirmed admission and succeed in achieving the performance goals.- Maintain regular communication with students for coordinating admission activities and resolving problems.- Result-orientated and able to work under pressure to achieve targets.- Excellent command of spoken and written English as well as the local language.- Strong, presentation and persuasion skills.- Report daily, weekly and monthly status.- Should be target oriented and enthusiastic towards the roleCompetencies:- Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in education counselling/recruitment.- Excellent writing and communication skills.- Strong networking and counselling skills- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with students, colleagues and team representing diverse ethnic and cultural background.- Experience in designing and implementing academic programs.- Proven ability to solve problems and work independently- Excellent organizational, planning and time management skillJob Type : Full-timeBenefits :- Paid sick time- Paid time off- Provident FundSchedule: Day shiftSupplemental pay types:Performance bonus (ref:updazz.com)
