Job Description: Sales Manager - Fastener IndustryAbout the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our growing team in the fastener industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and exceeding sales targets.Responsibilities: - Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
-Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and customer prospecting.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, including distributors, OEMs, and end-users.
-Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers while ensuring profitability.
-Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
-Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives (if applicable).
-Attend industry trade shows and conferences to network and build brand awareness.
-Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices.
-Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any customer issues promptly.Qualifications: - Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
-8 to 10 years of proven sales experience in the fastener / farm equipment / OEM / Hand tool industry required. (preference shall be given to candidates with experience in fastener industry).
-Strong understanding of the fastener market, including product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
-Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
-Strong negotiation and closing skills.
-Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
-Proven ability to exceed sales targets consistently.
-Strong organizational and time management skills.
-Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Willingness to travel as needed.Bonus Skills: - Experience with ERP systems.
-Knowledge of international trade regulations.
