The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with patients, scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and providing exceptional service. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth communication between the healthcare center and patients, improving patient satisfaction, and supporting overall operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities 1. Patient Appointment Scheduling
- Contact patients to schedule appointments with healthcare providers.
- Follow up with patients to confirm appointments and send reminders.
- Manage and update patient appointment calendars.
- Respond to incoming calls and queries from patients, providing accurate and timely information about services, procedures, and healthcare providers.
- Address any concerns or issues patients may have, offering solutions or escalating them to the appropriate department.
- Explain healthcare services, insurance coverage, and billing procedures when necessary.
- Update and maintain patient databases with accurate contact information, appointment details, and medical history (when applicable).
- Ensure patient confidentiality and follow privacy regulations (HIPAA compliance).
- Conduct follow-up calls to remind patients of upcoming appointments or necessary medical procedures.
- Engage with patients post-appointment to gather feedback on their experience and ensure patient satisfaction.
- SSC/Intermediate/Graduation is required.
- Previous work experience in hospitals and healthcare centres is an added advantage.
- A general understanding of healthcare procedures, medical terms, and patient care.
- The ability to remain calm, patient, and adaptable in fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable healthcare settings
