Sr. Engineer - Production Planning & Control Job description: Hands on experience in Production and Material Requirement Planning. Develop project schedule and monitor the project progress. Coordinate with upstream functions to ensure materials available on time to start production activities. Review with concerned stakeholders to ensure manufacturing completes on time. Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met Create capacity plan and ensure sufficient loading of machines. Monitor daily output in terms of quantity as well as time. Keep a track of engineering changes and its impact in projects. Hands on experience in identifying and maintaining safety stock and Kanban. Monitor Key performance indicators on daily, weekly, and monthly and apply problem solving for continuous improvement. Foresee the risks in project execution and escalate to management. Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner. Co-ordinate with other functions and pull materials for uniform loading in machining, welding, and assembly. Improve utilisation of plant capacity.
