Job Description: Chief Sales & Marketing Officer (Panel Business)Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)Role Summary:- The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will spearhead both marketing and sales functions for the Panel Business, driving revenue growth and market leadership.
-The role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in channel sales, strategic marketing, and team leadership to align and optimize both functions.Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Leadership : - Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve business growth objectives.
-Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics, ensuring the business remains ahead of the curve.- Marketing Excellence : - Strengthen the brand within the panel industry through impactful campaigns and initiatives.
-Oversee product positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to enhance market share.
-Leverage digital and traditional marketing channels for optimal brand visibility and customer engagement.- Sales Leadership : - Drive and manage channel sales, building strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and influencers.
-Monitor sales performance metrics and implement strategies to exceed revenue targets.
-Provide the sales team with necessary tools, training, and support to enhance productivity and achieve business goals.- Team Leadership : - Lead and mentor marketing and sales teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
-Ensure seamless alignment between marketing and sales functions to maximize results.- Analytics and Reporting : - Develop and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives.
-Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to the Chief Operating Officer.Candidate Profile:- Education: - MBA from a premier institute (IIM, ISB, XLRI, or equivalent).- Experience: - 15-20 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a strong focus on channel sales.
-Proven leadership experience in building materials, panel, plywood, or related industries.
-Demonstrated ability to drive both sales and marketing strategies in competitive markets.- Skills : - Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
-In-depth understanding of channel sales dynamics and marketing principles.
-Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
