Job Title: Social Media Manager
Job Summary:
The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation across various social media platforms. This role involves content creation, community management, analytics tracking, and collaboration with marketing, public relations, and other teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels. The Social Media Manager will leverage digital tools and creative campaigns to drive engagement and maintain a strong, positive online presence for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Strategy Development:
Develop Social Media Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive social media strategies tailored to the company s brand, objectives, and target audience.
Content Planning: Plan and develop a content calendar for all social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) that aligns with business goals, product launches, and seasonal trends.
Brand Voice and Messaging: Ensure that all social media content reflects the company s brand voice, tone, and values, maintaining consistency across all platforms.
2. Content Creation and Curation:
Content Development: Design, create, and curate engaging and visually appealing content, including text, images, videos, and infographics, tailored for different social platforms.
Creative Campaigns: Develop creative and engaging social media campaigns to increase user engagement, promote brand awareness, and drive conversions.
Collaborate with Designers and Writers: Work closely with the content, creative, and design teams to produce high-quality, on-brand content that resonates with the target audience.
3. Community Management:
Engage with Followers: Actively engage with followers by responding to comments, direct messages, and mentions, ensuring timely and professional communication.
Build Relationships: Foster a sense of community by encouraging conversations, responding to inquiries, and building a loyal following across social media platforms.
Monitor Brand Mentions: Keep track of brand mentions and discussions on social media, ensuring that customer feedback, both positive and negative, is handled appropriately and efficiently.
4. Analytics and Reporting:
Monitor Performance: Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights, Hootsuite, Sprout Social) to track the performance of social media campaigns, including reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
Data-Driven Insights: Analyze social media metrics and provide reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns, identifying areas for improvement.
A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests on various content formats, messaging, and advertising strategies to optimize engagement and ROI.
5. Paid Social Advertising:
Manage Ads: Plan, create, and execute paid social media campaigns on platforms like Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Twitter Ads to reach broader audiences.
Budget Management: Manage ad budgets and optimize paid campaigns for cost-effectiveness, tracking ad performance to ensure maximum return on investment (ROI).

6. Collaboration with Marketing and PR:
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, public relations, and product teams to ensure alignment of social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives and business goals.
Promotions and Events: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote upcoming events, product launches, and company announcements through social media channels.
