Job Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM)Location: AhmedabadExperience: 3- 8 yearsDepartment: Sales & MarketingReporting To: Regional Sales Head / Zonal Sales ManagerRole Overview: The role requires handling industrial sales, managing client relationships, and expanding business.Job Purpose:To manage and expand market presence by driving sales growth, developing strong customer relationships, and achieving business objectives in industrial and OEM sectors.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.- Build and maintain relationships with key clients in process industries and OEMs.- Generate new business leads, prepare quotations, and conduct client follow-ups.- Provide product presentations and technical support to customers.- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities.- Coordinate with internal departments for order processing, delivery, and customer service.- Prepare and maintain sales reports using advanced Excel tools.- Ensure smooth communication flow for timely decision-making.Eligibility Criteria:Education:- B.E./ B. Tech in Mechanical / Production / Chemical Engineering with 3-6 years of relevant sales experience, OR- Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Chemical Engineering with 5-8 years of relevant experience- Gender: Male candidates only- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (verbal & written)- Computer Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory)Must-Have Qualifications & Skills: - Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Chemical Engineering - Minimum 3-6 years (Degree) or 5-8 years (Diploma) of sales experience in industrial or technical products - Strong connections with process industries and OEMs - Advanced Excel knowledge and strong analytical ability - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Ability to work independently and under pressureNice-to-Have Qualifications & Skills:- Experience in selling gasket jointing sheets, sealing materials, PTFE products, or industrial valves- Knowledge of SAP/CRM systems for sales reporting- Experience managing channel partners or dealer networks- Exposure to industrial B2B marketing and client servicing- Working Days: 6 days a week- Age Limit: 28 - 38 years (ref:updazz.com)
