Key Responsibilities :Business & Revenue Growth :- Drive sales of retail banking products (CASA, loans, insurance, investments, credit cards, etc.).- Achieve branch business targets across deposits, advances, and cross-sell.- Identify and develop new business opportunities through customer acquisition and local market penetration.Branch Operations & Compliance :- Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the branch with focus on operational efficiency.- Adhere to all regulatory guidelines, audit norms, and bank policies.- Maintain high standards of risk management, compliance, and internal controls.Customer Relationship & Service Excellence :- Deliver superior customer experience by ensuring quick query resolution and personalized service.- Build and maintain strong relationships with HNI, corporate, and retail clients.- Ensure high customer retention and Net Promoter Score (NPS).Team Management & Leadership :- Lead, motivate, and develop the branch staff to achieve business goals.- Drive productivity and monitor performance of Relationship Managers, Officers, and support staff.- Provide regular training, coaching, and guidance to the team.Market & Competitor Intelligence :- Track local market trends and competitor activities to strategize business growth.- Develop branch-level marketing and promotional activities to enhance visibility.Key Skills & Competencies:- Strong knowledge of retail banking products and services.- Proven leadership and people management skills.- Strong sales orientation with target-driven approach.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to manage branch operations with high compliance standards.- Analytical and decision-making ability.Qualifications & Experience:- Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA/CA preferred).- 7-12 years of experience in banking, with at least 2-4 years in a supervisory / managerial role.- Experience in handling branch operations and driving sales performance is a must.
