Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept): - Create and implement effective SEO strategies to boost search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.- Conduct keyword research to identify high-value opportunities and optimize content for targeted keywords.- Optimize website content, meta tags, and other on-page elements to enhance search engine visibility.- Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are followed in all published content.- Perform technical audits to identify and resolve issues affecting website performance and search engine rankings.- Work with web developers to implement technical SEO improvements, such as site speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, and structured data.- Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and backlink profile.- Monitor and manage online reputation and brand mentions to support SEO goals.- Track, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics using tools such as Google Analytics,Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.- Provide regular performance reports and insights to the team and suggest actionable improvements.- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry developments to ensure our strategies are current and effective.- Adjust SEO strategies based on performance data and evolving search engine algorithms.What We re Looking For: - At least 2-3 years of relevant experience with sports news publishing websites is a must.- Proven experience as an SEO Manager or similar role with a strong track record of improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic.- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, tools, and techniques, including keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and technical SEO.- Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
-Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
