Job Title: CAD/CAM Software Sales ManagerDepartment: SalesReports To: Regional ManagerLocation: [Bangalore]Job Type: Full-time-Job Summary:The CAD/CAM Software Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive business growth for CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software solutions. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful promotion and sale of technical software solutions to manufacturers, engineers, designers, and production teams.Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals for CAD/CAM software.
-Identify and target new business opportunities in relevant industries (automotive, aerospace, industrial machinery, etc.).
-Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
-Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for potential and existing customers.
-Understand customer needs and provide consultative solutions aligned with their manufacturing or design processes.
-Collaborate with the technical support and engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation of the software.
-Track sales metrics, prepare regular reports, and provide accurate forecasts to senior management.
-Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in CAD/CAM.
-Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote products and services.
-Negotiate contracts, pricing, and licensing agreements in line with company policies.Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field (Mechanical Engineering or related technical background preferred).
-Proven experience (6 years) in B2B software sales, ideally with CAD/CAM products (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam, Siemens NX, Fusion 360, etc.).
-Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design software applications.
-Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
-Strong negotiation and closing skills.
-Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
-Familiarity with CRM tools and sales pipeline management.
-Ability to travel as required.Preferred Skills (optional) : - Technical certification or background in CAD/CAM.
-Experience working with CNC machinery or in manufacturing environments.
