About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings. This role is critical in designing, implementing, and governing scalable, secure, and cost:effective cloud solutions for enterprise clients in a Managed Services environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and architect scalable, secure, and resilient cloud:native applications using Azure PaaS offerings.
:
Lead the migration and modernization of legacy applications to Azure App Services and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
:
Define and implement API strategies using Azure API Management, including versioning, security, and lifecycle management.
:
Design, develop, and maintain Azure Automation runbooks (PowerShell, Python).
:
Use tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform to automate resource provisioning.
:
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure best practices in CI/CD, monitoring, and governance.
:
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams on Azure technologies and cloud:native patterns.
:
Develop architecture diagrams, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders and leadership.
:
Ensure compliance with enterprise security, governance, and cost optimization policies.
:
Stay current with Azure innovations and recommend adoption of new services where appropriate.
What we 're looking for
:
10 years of experience in IT with at least 4 years in Azure cloud architecture.
:
Strong hands:on experience with Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure API Management.
:
Proficiency in designing microservices and containerized applications.
:
Experience with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions and Terraform.
:
Proficiency in scripting PowerShell, Python, ARM, and Terraform.
:
Solid understanding of networking, identity, and access management in Azure.
:
Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
:
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
:
Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Developer Associate are highly desirable. AZ:400 is must
