Responsibilities Inspection & Testing: Compare incoming materials and outgoing completed goods to technical drawings and checklists by performing functional, visual, and physical inspections. Non-Conformance Management: Determine, mark, and separate faulty materials; start Material Review Board (MRB) proceedings; and supervise the disposal procedure. Metrology & Calibration: To guarantee measurement accuracy and traceability, oversee the calibration schedule for all measuring instruments. Statistical sample: Use sample strategies to assess production batches' acceptability. Documentation: For each production batch, create and keep thorough inspection reports, Test Certificates (TC), and quality logs. Process Auditing: Keep an eye on the shop floor to make sure that workstations are using calibrated equipment and that operators are adhering to quality standards. Skills: competence with devices for precise measurement. excellent comprehension of GD&T symbols and technical drawings. understanding of industry-specific certifications and quality standards such as ISO 9001. fundamental knowledge of material characteristics, metallurgy, and production techniques including machining and welding.
