Key Duties: System Design & Layout: Using CAD software, create electrical schematics, blueprints, and wire diagrams for control, lighting, and power distribution systems. Power Distribution Management: Manage the setup and upkeep of high- and low-voltage systems, such as UPS systems, transformers, and switchgear. Automation & Control Systems: To maximize industrial operations, program and troubleshoot SCADA, VFD or frequency drive, and PLC systems. Testing and Commissioning: Before handing over systems, do thorough electrical tests to make sure they meet operational standards. Safety & Compliance: Verify that every installation complies with local safety laws, IEEE standards, and national electrical codes. Project management: Work with mechanical and civil engineers to incorporate electrical systems into more extensive manufacturing or construction projects. Energy auditing: To cut operating expenses, examine trends in energy use and apply "Green Energy " or power factor correction techniques.
