Integration of Embedded Systems: Work with firmware engineers to combine peripheral communication I2C, SPI, UART, CAN with microcontrollers ARM, AVR, PIC. Component Selection: Locate and assess electronic components according to their lifespan availability, cost, and performance keep the Bill of Materials BOM up to date. Compliance & requirements: Verify that designs adhere to international safety and regulatory requirements, especially those pertaining to EMI/EMC testing, such as CE, FCC, or UL. Failure Analysis: Conduct Root Cause Analysis RCA for manufacturing flaws or field failures by identifying component stress using methods like cross-sectioning or thermal imaging. Firmware Support: To verify hardware operation during the bring-up phase, write simple low-level C/C++ code for hardware abstraction layers HAL.
