Job Summary:- Results-driven Area Sales Executive with 5 years of experience in the FMCG industry, specializing in distribution management, primary & secondary sales growth, and territory expansion.- Proven expertise in handling distributor networks, retail execution, and market penetration across assigned geographies.
-Strong understanding of local markets, trade dynamics, and competitor activities, enabling consistent achievement of volume and value targets.- Adept at executing trade promotions, improving outlet coverage, and strengthening dealer relationships.
-Fluent in local languages with the ability to lead on-ground sales initiatives and drive sustainable business growthKey Responsibilities:- Manage and grow primary & secondary sales across the assigned territory- Handle FMCG distribution network including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers- Ensure market coverage, numeric distribution, and product availability- Drive secondary sales through effective beat planning and on-ground execution- Implement trade schemes, promotions, and visibility initiatives- Monitor distributor performance including stock, billing, and collections- Appoint and develop new distributors and retail outlets- Conduct market intelligence on competition, pricing, and consumer trends- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain & service levels- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targetsDesired Candidate Profile:- 5 years of experience in FMCG sales (Only FMCG industry background preferred)- Strong expertise in distribution & channel management- Excellent geographical knowledge of the assigned territory- Proficient in local language(s) along with working knowledge of English- Experience in handling General Trade (GT); MT exposure is an added advantage- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and execution skills- Comfortable with extensive fieldwork and travelQualification:- Graduate in any discipline (MBA - Sales & Marketing preferred)Key Skills:- Distribution Management- Territory Planning & Execution- Channel Sales- Secondary Sales Growth- Trade Marketing- Retail & Dealer Engagement (ref:updazz.com)
