Job Title: Content AssociateExperience: 2-4 YearsLocation: bigbasketDepartment: ContentAbout the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Content Associate to join our team at bigbasket. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing product catalogues, ensuring data accuracy, coordinating with vendors, and supporting category teams to maintain a seamless online customer experience.Key ResponsibilitiesCatalogue Creation:- Create and upload new product listings with accurate titles, descriptions, specifications, images, and attributes.- Ensure alignment with internal content quality standards.Catalogue Updating:- Regularly update existing product information including pricing, availability, pack sizes, and compliance details.- Maintain consistency and accuracy across all SKUs.Vendor Code Creation:- Coordinate with internal teams to generate vendor codes and ensure timely onboarding of new vendors.- Validate vendor data and documentation for accuracy.- Ensure compliance with category guidelines and legal requirements (FSSAI)Coordination with Category & Operations Teams:- Collaborate with category managers, vendors, and supply chain teams to resolve catalogue discrepancies.- Support in catalogue hygiene activities and bulk updates.Content & Image Management:- Ensure all images and descriptions meet brand standards.- Request and coordinate product photo shoots where required.Process Improvement:- Identify gaps in the catalogue process and suggest improvements for workflow efficiency.- Support automation and system enhancement initiatives.Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor s degree in any discipline.- 2-4 years of experience as a Catalogue Associate or similar role in e-commerce/retail.- Strong understanding of product data management and catalogue workflows.- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, bulk data handling).- Good communication and coordination skills.- High attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.- Familiarity with e-commerce CMS (ref:updazz.com)
