Role Overview:The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations in our Gurgaon/Gurugram location, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience while maximizing sales and profitability. This role involves leading and developing a high-performing team, managing inventory effectively, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. The Store Manager collaborates closely with the Area Manager, visual merchandising team, and other stakeholders to achieve store objectives and uphold brand standards, ultimately contributing to the overall success of APPAREL GROUP INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED.Key Responsibilities:- Drive sales performance by setting and achieving sales targets, analyzing sales data, and implementing effective strategies to increase revenue.- Manage and motivate a team of sales associates by providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to foster a positive and productive work environment.- Ensure exceptional customer service by training staff on customer engagement techniques, resolving customer complaints promptly, and creating a welcoming and personalized shopping experience.- Oversee inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular inventory audits, and implementing loss prevention measures to minimize shrinkage.- Maintain visual merchandising standards by ensuring displays are visually appealing, consistent with brand guidelines, and regularly updated to showcase new products and promotions.- Manage store operations by ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining store cleanliness and organization, and overseeing opening and closing procedures.- Analyze market trends and competitor activities by gathering customer feedback, monitoring competitor pricing and promotions, and identifying opportunities to improve store performance.- Control operational costs by managing expenses within budget, optimizing staffing levels, and implementing energy-saving measures to improve profitability.Required Skillset :- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.- Proven expertise in managing store operations, including inventory control, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to effectively interact with customers, employees, and stakeholders.- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.- A bachelor s degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field is preferred.- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric retail environment.
