Role Overview:As a Study Abroad Counsellor, you will guide students through the entire process of pursuing higher education overseas, from initial consultation to university application and visa processing. You will work closely with prospective students and their families, understanding their academic goals, financial constraints, and personal preferences to recommend suitable study programs and institutions. Collaboration with the marketing team will be crucial to develop and execute effective communication strategies to attract and engage potential clients. Your expertise will empower students to make informed decisions, ultimately contributing to their academic and professional success and expanding the organization s reach and reputation.Key Responsibilities:- Counsel students and their families on study abroad options, including universities, programs, and destinations, to align with their academic and career aspirations.- Manage the application process, including assisting with document preparation, essay writing, and submission, to ensure successful university admissions.- Provide guidance on visa application procedures and requirements to facilitate smooth and timely visa approvals.- Conduct regular follow-ups with students and universities to track application status and provide ongoing support.- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns and events to generate leads and increase brand awareness.- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application progress in the CRM system to ensure efficient tracking and reporting.- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in international education to provide accurate and relevant information to students.- Organize and conduct workshops and seminars on study abroad topics to educate and inform prospective students and their families.Required Skillset:- Demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive guidance on study abroad options and application processes.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with students and families and effectively present information.- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple applications and deadlines simultaneously.- Proven ability to collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns.- Bachelor s degree in any discipline; Master s degree preferred.- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with on-site presence in Ahmedabad.- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in study abroad counselling or a related field.
