Allison is seeking a creative and analytical Social Media Strategist to accelerate the impact of social media on our clients brands and business.- You will be charged with leading the social media strategy, delivery and planning for the client s brands with an aim to increase social following, engagement, impact, drive sales initiatives for the brands and be the point person responsible for all social media channels, with focus on LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube , Facebook, and X (Twitter).- Our team is responsible for generating attention-grabbing ideas that will entice the consumer or target audience for our clients.- You will assist in developing conceptual campaigns and look to different members of the team to bring innovative ideas that help us stand out.
-You will also be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategy across several of our key accounts as well as build social media recommendations, drive delivery, manage day to day action items of the accounts and pull metrics to continuously optimize campaigns to reflect our brand and business goals.- We are looking for a hands-an team member who has the experience and skills to run social media campaigns on a day-to-day basis.Duties and responsibilities- Develop, implement and manage social media strategy- Define most important social media KPIs- Manage and oversee social media content and social media content calendars. Measure the success of every social media campaign- Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies- Stay on top of the trends and able to identify what s next on existing and emerging social platforms- Network with industry professionals and influencers via social media- Hire and train others on the teamDay to day execution details:Set Objectives: Define clear, measurable social media goals (e.g., increase brand awareness by 15%, drive 10% more traffic)Audience Analysis: Identify and segment the target audience, understanding their behavior and preferences on various platforms.Platform Selection: Determine which platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) are most relevant to the goals and audience and adapt to the changes as required or applicable.Content execution and creation: Plan major, integrated social media campaigns and work with creative teams to produce content.Scheduling and publishing: use scheduling tools to post content across all designated social channels.Adaptation: adjust content format and tone to suit the nuances of each platform (as defined by the client or the teams).Community management and engagement: respond to comments, direct messages, and mentions in a timely and on-brand manner. Daily monitoring & reporting: monitor brand mentions, relevant hashtags, and industry conversations.Competitive & Trend Analysis: Monitor competitors and industry leaders to identify best practices and white space.Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of platform updates, new features, and emerging social media trends. Tool Selection: Recommend and manage social media tools (scheduling, listening, analytics)Budget & Resource Management: Oversee the paid social media advertising strategy and budget allocation.Crisis management: monitor for negative feedback and work with the client and team to develop and execute a plan for handling social media crises. Performance tracking: track daily/weekly performance metrics and share preliminary insights with the client or as per the requirement set in deliverables. Collaboration & coordination: work closely with marketing, PR, sales (if possible), and customer other teams as required by the client to ensure message consistency.Influencer management: manage relationships and campaigns with social media influencers (if and as applicable).Requirements and qualifications- Experience as a Social Media Strategist/leader or similar role- Excellent knowledge of all Social Platforms- Excellent understanding of social media KPIs- Outstanding multitasking skills- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills- Degree in Marketing or similar relevant field (ref:updazz.com)
