About UPSSSC

The& State Government of Uttar Pradesh established a Subordinate Services Selection Board (SSSB) through an Ordinance in 1988 for direct recruitment to all group C government job posts. Subsequently, it was replaced by the name Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC). UPSSSC recruit staff for various departments/organisations of Government of Uttar Pradesh (UP).

UPSSSC Statistical/Research Officer Recruitment 2026 Vacancies

• Assistant Statistical Officer: 916 vacancies in various departments


• Assistant Research Officer (Statistics):& 13 vacancies in various departments in the UP Government

Eligibility Criteria

• Age: 21-40 years as on 01/07/2026


• Pay Scale: Pay Level-6 of 7th CPC 35400-122400/-


• Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Commerce, Economics or Statistics or equivalent qualification recognised by the government. (ii) 'O ' level diploma or one-year diploma in computer science from any recognised university/institute.
