Technical Guideline Interpretation: Examine, decipher, and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), blueprint diagrams, engineering drawings, and visual bill of materials (BOM) sheets. Assembly Equipment Operation: Use torque wrenches, electric screwdrivers, riveting guns, soldering irons, small arbor presses, and other manual, pneumatic, and automated instruments safely. In-Line Quality Inspections: Identify any surface flaws, dimensional variations, or loose fittings by performing regular visual and physical quality checks on components both before and after assembly. Defect Escalation & Reporting: To avoid batch failures, identify and tag non-conforming or defective goods right away. Then, route them out of the main production sequence and notify line supervisors. Component Inventory Staging: Ensure that assembly parts and fasteners are appropriately separated and positioned for quick line throughput by keeping a tidy, well-stocked workstation (5S protocols). Production Log Maintenance: Use digital interface tracking panels or regular physical logs to record daily production counts, rejected part specifications, and machine performance data. Focus Skills: Outstanding hand-eye coordination, finger dexterity, and physical endurance to manage small fasteners, navigate intricate wiring runs, or perform repetitive physical chores without fatigue errors are examples of exceptional manual dexterity. Technical blueprint literacy is the ability to read assembly flowcharts, multi-step parts breakdown diagrams, and basic mechanical schematics.
