As the "Balance Sheet & Compliance Guardian, " you oversee vendor payouts, keep track of receivables, and guarantee total compliance with statutory tax rules while maintaining structural data accuracy throughout all business records. In order to ensure that our financial dashboards remain flawless, completely auditable, and transparent, the ideal applicant is a very methodical, numbers-driven accounting professional who combines extensive double-entry accounting software proficiency with an unwavering eye for compliance errors. Responsibilities Daily Financial Bookkeeping: Use the central accounting platform to methodically document everyday financial transactions, such as purchase receipts, sales invoices, petty cash outlays, and bank updates. Accounts Payable AP Control: Process timely accounts payable runs, monitor credit terms, control payment cycles, and compare vendor invoices to purchase orders POs and delivery notes. Accounts Receivable AR Management: Keep track of receiving payments from customers, provide formal receipts, identify outstanding bills that are getting old, and collaborate with sales cells to expedite credit collections. Bank and General Ledger Reconciliation: Complete accurate weekly and monthly bank reconciliation statements BRS, resolving inconsistencies by comparing internal ledger sheets with bank passbooks. Support for Statutory Tax Compliance: Help calculate, format, and prepare statutory tax returns for timely filing, including corporate tax schedules, Tax Deducted at Source TDS brackets, and GST collections. Skills: Mastery of the Double-Entry Accounting System: In-depth practical knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, such as financial statement structures, debit/credit classification, and the golden standards of bookkeeping. Accounting Software Fluency: The capacity to quickly and easily navigate industry-standard accounting ERP systems. Advanced Spreadsheet & Grid Literacy: Capable of utilizing Pivot Tables, logical expressions, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, and mathematical arrays in Microsoft Excel. A practical understanding of local industrial tax rules, including corporate filing schedules, applicable GST rates, TDS categories, and slab computations, is known as taxation framework literacy.
