ARC Welder Sturdy Structures Robust Welds Candidate Application: Full Name: Contact Number: Email Address: Current Location: Position Applied For: Qualification: Year of Passout: Candidate Category: Fresher / Experienced Willingness to Relocate: Yes / No Total Years of Experience: If applicable Current/Last Drawn Salary Monthly/Annual: Notice Period: Job Description: Responsibilities: SMAW, or shielded metal arc welding Execution: Carry out manual heavy-duty ARC welding operations in all situations, including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead, on carbon steel, alloy steel, and structural iron. Blueprint and Weld Symbol Interpretation: To perform precise joint geometries and weld size callouts, read and comprehend intricate industrial structure drawings, fabrication blueprints, and international welding symbols. Material Edge Preparation & Fitting: Before welding, clean, bevel, grind, and pre-heat raw material surfaces. Use fixtures, clamps, and temporary tack welds to accurately align pieces in accordance with dimensional specifications. Electrode and Current Selection: Consider material grades, thickness, and core strength while choosing the appropriate welding consumables and electrode types. Post-Weld Quality Control & Cleaning: Use wire brushes and chipping hammers to remove slag, weld spatter, and surface scales. Visually inspect the beads for flaws such as undercut, porosity, slag inclusion, or incomplete fusion. Thermal Distortion and Warp Prevention: To balance thermal stresses and avoid warping or dimensional twisting in heavy structural assemblies, carefully sequence welds and regulate inter-pass temperatures. Required Skills: Advanced SMAW Process Fluency: To create smooth, consistent weld profiles with deep root penetration, complete physical mastery over arc length control, electrode angle manipulation, and travel speed synchronization is required. Structural Metrology Tool Literacy: Practical use of common workshop checking instruments, including bevel protectors, combination squares, tape measures, weld fillet gauges, and frame squares. Basic Industrial Metallurgy Literacy: Excellent practical knowledge of steel properties, such as determining weldability issues, matching tensile strengths, and verifying carbon steel heat levels. Heavy Cutting & Grinding Tool Mastery: Expert use of supplementary fabrication tools, such as magnetic base drilling sets, carbon arc gouging equipment, oxy-acetylene flame cutters, and angle grinders. Experience: 0 to 3 yrs Salary: Best in the Industries Immediate Joiner Mostly Preferred Interested Candidates Contact the HR ASAP Warm Regards, HR - Maria
