Electronics Engineer PLC, HMI & Control Devices Help Job Description: Our engineering division's "Neural Pathway Architect" and "Signal Integrity Engine" is the Electronics Engineer. Your main responsibility is to design, prototype, and validate the intricate electronic circuitry, microcontrollers, and firmware blocks that power our smart manufacturing products, converting abstract circuit layouts and hardware concepts into stable, high-reliability physical PCAs while production teams handle heavy wiring and physical housing assembly on the floor. As the "Guardian of Signal Integrity, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), and Hardware-Firmware Synergy Standards," you directly oversee the development of multi-layer PCB layouts, microcontroller programming, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, and component-level bug fixes. Key Duties Schematic Capture & Component Selection: Using CAD software, create unambiguous electronic schematics. Based on power budgets and performance goals, select the best microcontrollers, sensors, voltage regulators, and passives. Multi-Layer PCB Layout Design: Design sturdy multi-layer Printed Circuit Boards using industry-standard tools, assuring precise trace routing, grounding methods, and impedance matching. Signal Integrity & Power Analysis: Use oscilloscopes and logic analysers to confirm temporal bounds as you examine hardware designs for signal integrity, cross-talk, and power delivery performance. Design for Manufacturing & Assembly: To ensure high yield at assembly facilities, adjust layouts to manufacturing capabilities by verifying component footprints, panelization guidelines, drill sizes, and solder mask clearances. EMC/EMI Testing & Compliance Governance: Conduct hardware pre-compliance tests for electromagnetic interference and compatibility, modifying shield structures and filter circuits to comply with FCC or CE code limitations.
