To maximise finish quality and save machine wear, manually modify feed rates, spindle speeds, and cutting depths by writing, interpreting, and optimising raw alphanumeric machine instructions. Create unique clamps, jaws, and production fixtures using CAD modules to guarantee that components stay precisely stable and rigid under high cutting forces. Determine the best cutting tool geometries, carbide grades, and coating styles by analysing raw material metrics (aluminium, steel, titanium, and polymers) and computing precise feed and speed formulas Oversee the shop floor's initial setup validation loops, carrying out visual dry runs, confirming step-blocks, examining offsets, and utilising precision micrometres to audit the first-off component against engineering prints. To reduce part cycle-times and production overheads, audit current program archives, rewrite ineffective toolpaths, and apply high-speed machining (HSM) techniques.
