Factory Technical Support Maintenance Engineer Job Description Duties: Plant Asset & Equipment Reliability Management: To optimize machine availability and OEE, implement daily preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans for all production equipment, CNC/VMC machines, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, conveyors, utilities, and packing lines. Breakdown Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis: Use the 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone approaches to do Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in order to eradicate recurrent equipment failures. Lead real-time physical and systematic troubleshooting during unplanned machine breakdowns. CMMS & Preventive Maintenance (PM) Scheduling: Create, design, and optimise preventive maintenance master plans within CMMS/ERP software; guarantee complete adherence to weekly and monthly PM schedules. Spare Parts & Inventory Optimisation: To reduce machine waiting time during repairs, track the use of essential spare parts, set minimum and maximum stock levels, and determine Economic Order Quantities for bearings, motors, valves, drives, and seals. Focus Skills: A thorough understanding of industrial machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, AC/DC motors, VFDs, PLCs, boilers, and utility distribution systems is necessary for mechanical and electrical maintenance mastery Predictive Maintenance & Diagnostic Capabilities: Real-world experience utilising diagnostic instruments and analysing data from condition monitoring. Proficiency with CMMS and Asset Management Software: Practical ability to manage work orders, asset histories, and spare parts modules inside CMMS or ERP systems. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) pillars, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) energy isolation methods, machine guarding standards, and industrial EHS rules are all strongly adhered to.
