QA Engineer Product Reliability and Quality Planning Job Description Experience: 0 to 3 yrs Salary: Based on Company Norms Education: Diploma/BE in EEE Location: In And Around Chennai Your Duties: Establish, maintain, and upgrade the plant's Quality Management System (QMS) in full compliance with ISO or IATF standards. Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions during New Product Introduction (NPI) cycles. Oversee Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) workshops to identify potential risks and mitigation controls. Direct internal and external quality audit programs, acting as the primary management representative for customer quality audits and certification body reviews. Manage customer quality assurance interfaces, review customer technical specifications, address formal quality complaints, and direct 8D Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations. Oversee the Metrology laboratory, coordinate calibration schedules for all gauges and CMM machines, and ensure Measurement System Analysis (MSA / Gauge R&R). Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) frameworks to monitor critical-to-quality (CTQ) manufacturing dimensions and reduce process variation.
