SUMMARY OF THE POSITION : - As an SAP PP/QM Analyst, you will be part of IS-SAP project delivery team working in a fast-paced environment, closely partnered with business stakeholders.
-You will work to design new systems and improve existing systems, create design documentation, software specifications, and testing/training scenarios and will evaluate processes for alignment opportunities.
-You will participate in new functionality estimation, analysis, design and testing and define application requirements by working closely with key stakeholders and other members of the project teams.
-As a project team member, you will support the entire project lifecycle from initial project definition to project implementation (including testing and training) through to project closure.
-You will also be an expert on current SAP processes and systems; identify, recommend, and drive process improvements; and serve as a consultant on these processes and systems for partners and customers. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Providing Solution Delivery : - Serve as an internal SAP PP/QM consultant for all plant users on SAP capabilities and operations execution best practices - Provide expert functional and process guidance on system capabilities and solution approaches Drive Operational Support : - Liaisoning with PP/QM counterpart from support partner side to ensure solution delivery done timely - Provide L1 / L2 support to business teams to ensure zero downtime to business operations - Drive the appropriate workshops / trainings to End Users - Provide support documentation as System Data Asset for end users Stakeholder Management : - Provide support to business teams - Work within cross-functional teams to drive successful deployments QUALIFICATION AND SKILL SET : - B.Tech, BCA, MBA (optional) - Minimum experience of 3-6 years as an SAP PP/QM consultant (with 2-3 E2E implementation / roll-outs) - Strong knowledge on PP / QM Master Data (BOM, Recipe, Resource and Work Instructions sheets) - Exposure to PM (Plant Maintenance) module - Must have strong experience working as functional consultant in development of Custom Reports and its Validations - Worked in SAP ECC / S4 HANA is an added advantage - Good knowledge of integration (Interface) between SAP 3rd party application is preferred - Conversant in local languages (Telugu, Kannada) - Strong systems thinking and problem-solving capability - Experience in collaborating with team members to drive results - Self-motivated and outcome oriented - Ability to facilitate and drive decisions and clarification - Ability to work independently with short deadlines - Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
