Experience: 5-12 yrs, with at least 5 yrs in the relevant field (Testing of automotive algorithms and / or test of automotive diagnostics protocols) Job description : - In this role you will act as the local technical expert towards the customers in India for all questions related to Vectors products related to automotive testing topics (manual/automated) like Software tools for eg., CANoe, CANalyzer, vTESTstudio and hardware like VN89xx, VH6501 and HiL system(VT-system). Questions from customers may be in tool usage, tool capabilities etc.
-You shall conduct tool specific sessions in various Vector events like Userday, Roadshow, Techdays . You will be involved in making DEMO projects which helps users to understand capabilities of tools in above said events.
-You would have to interact with customers in India as technical support. On needs basis you may have to travel to Customers in India. Typical tasks include : - Respond to our customers- queries on technical issues of varying complexity on Vector Testing tools and solutions in conjunction with networked systems.
-Assist customers via telephone/mail/web conferencing as part usage of Vector solutions.
-Implementation of - proof-of-concepts- i.e. prototypical ECU test systems for key customers. Desired Candidate Profile : - Education: UG or PG - B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech - Computers, Electronics/Telecommunication from reputed institute with Minimum 60% - Strong experience in automotive testing (manual and automated testing, HiL, I/O testing) with standalone ECU and Networked (real/simulated) ECUs.
-Working experience of automotive networking systems (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Flexray etc.) - Knowledge Model based testing and simulation will be added advantage.
-Must be a good team player and have excellent communication skills - Structured, analytical approach to work - Self driven work style creativity - Traveling to customer location would be essential - Good user knowledge MS Office (Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel)
