About this role : The Cloud Architect will play a key role in defining the Design and Architecture including the sub-systems and components required to develop, implement and support cutting edge BI solutions on AWS/Azure cloud platform.
-This role involves envisioning the optimal cloud architecture, suggest and manage implementation of appropriate cloud technologies to help address critical business challenges from application architecture standpoint.
-The Cloud Architect, working in concert with project management leadership and the wider Enterprise Infrastructure/Solutions Architects, will be responsible for key deliverables with IT Business Partners and Stakeholders and reports to the Director of Data Analytics in Corporate IT. What youll do : - Propose, Develop implement best in class, high performing architectural solution for a BI Data Platform on cloud infrastructure - Define and create system architecture design specifications, data mapping and data transformation rules - Develop innovative approaches on performance optimization automation - Analyzing enterprise specifics to understand current-state data schema and data model and contribute to define future-state data schema, data normalization and schema integration as required by the project - Analyzing and documenting requirements for meta-data, data lineage and data dictionaries across the data stores - Setting a collaboration framework to develop and document data flow diagrams, schema and data mapping/cross-walks across the data stores - Ensure data mapping, data quality and data validation specifications standards and data cleansing/data scrubbing techniques adhered to consistently - Define technical metadata and conduct data model reviews with project team members.
-Experience in interacting with business analysts and developers to analyze the user requirements, functional specifications and system specifications - Collaborate with system architects, designers, and developers to ensure a thorough understanding of functions, technical, and performance requirements - Assist in the execution/analysis of integration, user acceptance, and performance testing - Maintain prescribed processes and accepted templates/methods of documentation for all allocated projects - Excellent technical, organizational and planning skills, excellent communication, and problem solving skills - Analyzing cloud technology environment for creating a solution prototype What youll need : - At least 8 yrs of working experience in one or multiple IT areas - Hands on experience of developing high performing scalable Platform architecture using Public cloud like AWS Azure - Deep Knowledge/ Experience on Microservices Architecture, Machine Learning AI - IT infrastructure and cloud development - Engineering software architecture design - Business analysis - Strong database skill with good sql knowledge problem solving and fact finding skills - Oracle 12 or higher, SQL Server 2008 or higher, Postgress, MySQL, Redshift - Informatica Power Center, SSIS, PL/SQL, T-SQL, Functions, Triggers Stored Procedure - OBIEE/BusinessObjects/Power BI (Preferred) - Data Modeling (logical/Physical), ETL Routines - Working experience of a variety of cloud products and services (e.g. Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Redshift, Amazon CloudFront, Amazon EMR and/or Azure equivalent) - Ability to address data security cloud including an understanding of Federated Security/Single Sign-On and IAM - Experience with Designing and Developing Azure Service Bus and Azure Data Factory.
