We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Territory/Area Sales Manager to join our team in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales representatives, and expanding our market presence within the designated territory/area.
-This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in sales management.Key Responsibilities : - Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives within the assigned territory/area.- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team targets.- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, customer segments, and product lines.- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners.- Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions with the sales team to drive productivity and effectiveness.- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and threats.- Collaborate with marketing, product management, and other internal teams to develop effective sales tools, promotional campaigns, and product launches.- Prepare and analyze sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to track performance and make informed decisions.- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.Skills & Qualifications :- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.- 4 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the [specific industry or sector].- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.- Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.- Knowledge of [specific industry or sector] market dynamics, trends, and competitors.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory/area as needed.Benefits:- Competitive salary package with performance-based incentives- Health insurance- Professional development opportunities- Flexible work hours- Collaborative and supportive work environment (ref:updazz.com)
