Role OverviewThe Mid-Level BDM is responsible for driving business growth by identifying potential clients, generating qualified leads, conducting detailed market research, and building strong client relationships. This role requires hands-on experience in domestic staffing, proven lead-generation skills, and the ability to convert opportunities into active clients.Required Skills & Experience- 3-5 years of BD experience in domestic staffing or HR services.- Hands-on experience in lead generation and market mapping.- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.- Ability to work independently and handle end-to-end BD cycles.- Good understanding of recruitment processes and job market trends.- Proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Naukri, and other research tools.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation- Identify and generate high-quality leads across IT & Non-IT domestic staffing markets.- Use platforms like LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, Google, and industry directories to source target companies.- Create and maintain a database of potential clients with contact details of key stakeholders.- Initiate outreach via email, calls, and LinkedIn messaging to pitch staffing services.- Qualify prospects and schedule introductory meetings.Market Research- Conduct detailed research on industries, companies, hiring trends, and competitor analysis.- Map client org structures-HR, TA, Procurement, and Vendor Management teams.- Track emerging sectors, new projects, expansions, and hiring demand in India.- Provide insights to management and recruitment teams to support strategic decisions.Client Engagement & Relationship Building- Understand client hiring needs and propose suitable staffing solutions.- Coordinate with internal recruitment teams for timely delivery.- Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure continued business.- Follow up regularly for feedback, new requisitions, and contract opportunities.Documentation & Reporting- Support vendor empanelment, agreement discussions, and client onboarding process.- Maintain daily/weekly activity reports-leads, calls, meetings, submissions, and closures.- Work closely with management to achieve revenue and margin targets.
