Role Overview- MetaApply is seeking a highly driven and analytical Management Trainee to work closely with the Founder s Office on strategic initiatives, growth projects, business planning, and cross-functional execution. This role is designed for high-potential individuals who want to fast-track their career across Strategy, Analytics, Operations, Outreach, and Sales within a fast-growing global edtech platform.- The Management Trainee will play a critical role in driving business outcomes, supporting market expansion, and contributing to end-to-end execution across multiple business verticals.Key Responsibilities :Strategic & Analytical Responsibilities :- Work directly with the Founder s Office to plan, execute, and monitor strategic initiatives across global markets.- Conduct detailed market research, competitor benchmarking, and trend forecasting to identify high-growth opportunities.- Build and present strategy decks, executive reports, and performance dashboards for leadership and board-level reviews.- Evaluate and develop business cases for new revenue streams such as study abroad, finance, accommodation, insurance, and technology initiatives.- Build and automate reporting models, KPIs, and performance scorecards using Excel, Power BI, AI, or automation tools.- Participate in strategic decision-making through data-driven insights and structured problem solving.- Serve as a change agent to drive innovation, process excellence, and operational efficiency across business units.Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work with Sales, Marketing, Admissions, Finance, Product, and Tech teams to ensure smooth execution of strategic projects.- Act as a project owner to ensure timely delivery, alignment, and coordination across multiple teams.- Support digital transformation and tech-enabled process improvements.Outreach & Sales Responsibilities :- Support outreach activities by identifying and engaging potential student recruitment partners, agencies, and institutions.- Participate in field visits, partner onboarding meetings, and relationship-building initiatives.- Assist Sales teams in lead follow-ups, partner communication, and pipeline coordination.- Develop outreach strategies to increase student acquisition, partner engagement, and market expansion.- Track sales performance metrics and assist in preparing revenue dashboards and sales forecasts.- Provide analytical support to optimize sales funnels, partner conversions, and outreach efficiency.Education Requirements :- MBA / PGDM from Tier-1 B-Schools (IIM, ISB, XLRI, SPJIMR, etc.)Experience Required :- 0-3 years, including internships, in Consulting, Analytics, Business Strategy, Outreach, Sales, or high-growth startup environments.Key Skills :- Strong strategic thinking and structured problem-solving abilities.- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI / Tableau.- Familiarity with AI and automation tools (ChatGPT, Notion AI, Zapier, etc.).- Excellent communication, presentation, and executive presence.- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Entrepreneurial mindset with resilience, adaptability, and ownership mentality.Core Competencies :Founder s Mindset: High ownership, speed, bias for action.Strategic Acumen: Ability to connect insights to business impact.Execution Excellence: Deliver outcomes with precision and accountability.Learning Agility: Comfortable with ambiguity and fast learning cycles.Collaboration: Ability to build trust and influence cross-functional teams.Innovation Orientation: Use technology, automation, and AI to simplify and scale operations (ref:updazz.com)
